Family Engagement Month
Governor John Bel Edwards issued a state proclamation acknowledging November as Family Engagement Month in the State of Louisiana. This is a time to recognize and celebrate the important role of families in the education and well-being of their children. It is an opportunity for families, schools and the community to reflect upon how to promote and strengthen family engagement. In celebration of Family Engagement Month, LDOE has launched the BE ENGAGED Initiative, which consists of a number of activities and initiatives to ignite and support family engagement.
